Wing are entered into the Best Kept Village Competition. An advert is going into What’s on in Wing, but a copy of the advert and details are attached for your information.

We are also starting work on our entry to the Village of the Year Competition which is a separate competition looking for evidence as to how the community works for the community. It is not an aesthetics competition and looks for evidence of clubs, activities, access for all and general community awareness. With this in mind, we are looking to collate some information on all the activities and businesses in Wing and would be grateful for any help or assistance you could give in completing these forms for your own clubs, groups and businesses. We would also like to gather as many photographic records as possible and (if the group etc is in agreement) put together a display board promoting the positive activities and businesses we have in the village at the Carnival.

I wondered if you would mind participating in this exercise? Do you know of any other friends who are involved in other groups, or business in Wing who may be interested in taking part and completing a questionnaire? If you are able to assist in completing and perhaps passing this onto to others to complete I would be extremely grateful.
